A company operates 8 actual stores in Ginza, Shinjuku, Hiroo, Shibuya and
Hamamatsu.
Standing Point is also doing business online selling a fine selection of
re-owned products purchased from customers nationwide.
Please tell us something about your job.
Kanenari: I am in charge of the management of sales progress and the overall operation on EC malls.
Yanagida: I am in charge of the creation of product data and order, inquiry related customer service.
As a tool to start business overseas at the very beginning.
Did you have any difficulties in selling products overseas before using WORLD SWITCH?
Kanenari: We started to ask questions like “How to make our staffs to list products to foreign malls easily?” at time and tried to find a suitable tool for us. After some research, we found WORLD SWITCH.
But I heard that you have some foreign staffs in your company?
Kanenari: On the contrary, it made things more complicated.
Our local
staffs are doing the full workflow from data creation to listing, but the foreign staffs are
only doing the listing. And the gap made our work not so efficient.
Because the work is based on the system only supports Japanese.
Kanenari: We just thought that time as a transfer period. At last we managed to create a glossary of translations and it was quite accurate.
It is easy even for the new staffs to get used to WORLD SWITCH!
Do you think it was a good decision to use WORLD SWITCH?
Kanenari: We used to do the same thing many times on different malls, but now we
can do it at one time thanks to the batch processing tools provided in WORLD SWITCH.
We
felt that we have solved all our problems.
How about the reaction from other staffs.
Yanagida: Eveybody says it is a very easy-to-use system.
Even the new
staffs can get used to it in a short time.
That helps us a lot in the new staff training.
We heard that there are only local staffs in your company now.
Yanagida: Foreign staffs have been relocated to different departments and we
have local staffs only.
Because of some strategy change, we closed our foreign sites for a while.
But when we
decided to restart our foreign business, WORLD SWITCH has helped us a lot in the translation
process.
We are able to use more foreign malls the operation has become smoother than
before.

Has it made your work more efficient?
Kanenari: With the help of inventory synchronization between different malls, we
can concentrate more to other work and the overall efficiency has increased a
lot.
Especially the batch price editting funciton helps our inventory turnover rate to keep
increasing.
Yanagida: Besides, the quality of products are more stable and we don’t have that much opportunity loss.
What do you expect from us in the future?
Kanenari: The new integration with our own POS system and external system via API.
We will do our best to develop that API.
Kanenari: Our requests have been always instantly handled by your support team,
that was very good.
The increase of our efficient could not happen without your sincere
